Three-point shot attempts continue to increase this season, causing concern for some experts. As a result, there has been an uptick in successful three-point shots as well. On average, each NBA game this season has seen 27 three-pointers made out of 75 attempts, with a shooting percentage of 35.9%.
The Warriors and Mavericks blew that out of the water Sunday night, setting a record with 48 made 3-pointers between them (on 95 attempts, a ridiculous 50.5% for the game).

This game proved to be the contrast to Friday night's Bulls vs. Hornets game where the teams combined to miss 75 3-pointers, also an NBA record.
It was fitting that in another Splash Brothers reunion in the Bay Area, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry would lead the way with seven made 3-pointers each. Luka Doncic added six for the Mavericks, while both Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green had five for the Warriors. Green is quietly having the best 3-point shooting season of his career, hitting 39.8% from beyond the arc.
The Mavericks got the win in San Francisco, 143-133.
